"Bolonina proved in one fell swoop that Rimsky’s opera is real drama and that Kashcheyevna is fit to stand next to Kundry. Nothing Bolonina did or sang for the entire time she was on stage was wrong. Utterly, utterly accomplished in singing and acting, she could — frankly — have been singing the Yellow Pages: it would have been every bit as riveting.

                        -John Weretka, Classic Melbourne

"With a striking stage presence, Viktoria Bolonina as Kashcheyevna, was the standout. Her cold stare, evil smirk and dark mezzo were bewitching."

                                   -Bridget Davies, The Age

"...her second role as Secrecy, was stunning, her voice as smooth and tenebrous as the velvet of her cloak"

-Angus McPherson , Limelight magazine

Since October 2022 Viktoria has joined the board of directors at the Yellow Diamond Brain Cancer Foundation volunteering to raise awareness and funds for brain cancer research into children’s brain cancer, to help fight the disease that she also had to overcome herself in 2022.

Viktoria is a mesmerizing artist and vocalist with an unforgettable presence. Her beautiful voice, skills, energy, and comfort on stage has been noticed and praised many times by credible critics and reviewers from ‘Limelight Magazine’, ‘Classikon’, ‘The Age’, ‘Classic Melbourne’ and many more.
